AT WORK

We spend around 8 hours a day at work – so it’s important that employees have time to meaningfully connect.

  • Host a team lunch, morning tea or after work activity (try making it a monthly gathering)
  • Create spaces for informal interaction such as a communal kitchen, a quiet lounge or an outdoor area where people naturally gather
  • Set up online group chats around interests that staff can join
  • Start meetings with a moment to share (make sure it is optional)
  • Create a welcome experience for new starters such as buddies
  • Acknowledge and celebrate the connectors in your workplace
